ABSTRACT

Environmental health services in the health center of counseling activities, inspection and environmental helath intervention by sanitarian to environmentally based disease patients. The cases include tubercolosis, diarrhea, malaria, dengue and filariasis. Therefore it is necessary to do environmental health sevice. The research was conducted to find out an Environmental Health Services At Padang Pasir Health Center In Padang.

This type of research is descriptive. The subjects of this study were environmentally based disease patients and clients observed + 2 weeks at Padang Pasir Health Center as many as 10 patient. Data obtained from direct observation as well as reports/records that are on the collection.

The flow of environmental health service at health center, namely pastient registering after being examined is referred to the environmental health counseling room. The number of environment-based disease patients in the Padang Pasir Helath Center many as 62 patients. Patients was referred to the counseling room by 16,12 %. The services of environmental health counseling activities are good, the environmental health inspection activities are poor. Implementation of Environmental health intervention activities are good. Completeness of good human resources and financial resources, and infrastructure that is not in accordance with the operational standards of health services at the Health Center.

It is recommended to the sanitarian to improve communication with other officers and conduct counseling with the media an to the Health Center ware complete facilities / infrastructure and carrying out health service activities in according to the standard procedure.
